This summer has been a busy one at Cupanion. We’ve been having a great time working with a lot of great events, not-for-profits, and charities in our local and global communities.
Below are some of the events we have contributed and sponsored over the past couple of months. While the list mainly highlights local events we have been honored to sponsor a lot of amazing events and programs across North America.
Green Living Charity Golf Classic – May 31st, 2019
We were excited to donate bottles to Green Living’s Charity Golf Classic. The event helped raise over $56,000 for Eva’s. Eva’s provides safe shelter for young residents aged 16-24 in Toronto, Ontario. Eva’s also provides training, counseling, and a wide range of innovative services for 1,000 young people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness every year.
Camp Maven – June 1st, 2019
We provided Fill it Forward tags to campers at Camp Maven – a camp in Goderich, ON where women can experience a weekend filled with adventure, team-building, and self-development! The goal is for attendees to re-connect with yourself and leave feeling refreshed, empowered and inspired.
Guelph Tool Library Zero Waste Festival – August 10th 2019
We are excited about this event and proud to be donating bottles for the amazing volunteers to use. On Saturday, August 10th, community members are invited to gather to celebrate sustainable living at Guelph’s first Zero Waste Festival.
The Zero Waste Festival will offer a vendor fair with products for creating a low-waste home and lifestyle. There will be a mini Repair Cafe event, with the opportunity to have bikes, clothing, and small appliances or electronics fixed by a team of volunteers. The event will also feature a series of workshops and speakers. You can learn more about the event here.
Walk & Run for Rare Charitable Research Reserve – September 22nd, 2019
This is our second year sponsoring the Walk & Run for Rare Charitable Reserve! We are super excited to provide Cupanion bottles to everyone that participates in the event. Families and individuals can join in for a walk or fun-run to help protect and conserve land in Waterloo Region and Wellington County. The Walk & Run for rare is supporting our Turn the Map Green campaign — every $2 raised protects 1 square meter of environmentally sensitive land in perpetuity.
